This is an exceptional opportunity to join a large business based in Central Essex. We are looking for an ACA/ACCA qualified accountant to undertake the role of Head of Financial Reporting that will give the successful candidate significant group exposure and the ability to interact with senior financial stakeholders. The role:-
• Produce and lead the annual statutory accounts process for the group
• Take full responsibility for the Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss
• Lead the annual audit process
• Ensure financial control is effectively managed throughout the business
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements and submissions
• Be the project lead for any technical updates / roll outs
• Interact with the Finance Director / CFO and other senior stakeholders The candidate:-
• ACA/ACCA Qualified Accountant
• Trained in practice dealing with large size clients
• Industry experience is desirable
• Technically focused with an eye for making improvements
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
