This high profile Cambridge based organisation has embarked on an exiting strategic journey and is seeking a qualified accountant to join their team as Senior Finance Business Partner. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role will be expected to work in partnership with a number of business areas to provide them with real-time financial support. You will be working closely with senior internal stakeholders and must therefore be able to build effective professional relationships with key decision makers, supporting the board at a strategic level. You will work closely with stakeholders to create accurate, timely and well understood annual budgets and monthly reforecasts and will be responsible for monthly reporting, meeting with budget holders on a monthly basis to discuss variances. You will need to possess excellent data analysis skills and be able to communicate complex financial information in a clear and understandable way to colleagues outside of finance. You must possess the confidence to be able to challenge the current ways of working along with the ability to create metrics and KPIs that enable the business areas to manage and monitor their performance. You will work closely with other Business Partners in order to drive the strategic agenda and focus on key business priorities. You must therefore be a team player and have the ability to prioritise strategic and tactical tasks. You will be a qualified accountant with experience in producing budgets and forecasts and will have a proven track record in producing meaningful financial information to aid decision-making. Previous experience of working within a large, complex organisation would be advantageous. Please contact Nick Culley for further information. Ref: J53765
