We are looking for an experienced FP&A Manager, reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, this is a highly commercial position for a FP&A Manager to lead the FP&A activities across Legalzoom's operating companies. You will provide financial acumen and analysis to assess new business opportunities, whilst seeking to maximise the commercials of existing opportunities. What you'll do: Taking ownership of budgeting, forecasting, reforecasting and cashflow planning process: Facilitate the forecasting process with the business partners to collect assumptions and business drivers to input in financial modelling; Analyse monthly budget/forecast versus actual performance, preparing commentary for senior management (Finance, Business Partners, US & UK); Prepare and coordinate the reporting of UK forecasted P&Ls and financial metrics with UK senior management and US headquarters. Providing thorough financial planning appraisals and scenario modelling to support the managing director and senior leadership team in assessing new business opportunities or progressing existing opportunities. Providing quality analysis across a wide variety of business disciplines, including presentation to C-suite management. Assist in the monthly preparation of KPIs for UK senior management reviews and US headquarters. Supporting ad hoc finance-led projects to provide the oversight, expertise and management capabilities in order to deliver the projects from start to finish. Manage and maintain financial planning system and tool, Anaplan: Understand Anaplan models to be a first line of support of operational users; Manage the monthly uploads of data to keep the system up to date; Maintain lists, data integrity and access to the model. What you need: Must be proficient in Anaplan Ability to build, develop and enhance complex financial models, including business cases Sound technical accounting skills and strong familiarity with financial appraisal, business plan and modelling techniques. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written English with the ability to prepare high quality, well-crafted reports to senior management. Robust personality and gravitas to present to and challenge directors / senior management. Excellent organisational skills and an ability to balance and deliver against varied workloads. Exceptional attention to detail.
