The company: We are currently working with the main disruptor of the restaurant business. They operate through virtual kitchen, only delivering through Deliveroo, UberEats or similar services. They have a pan-European presence (UK, France and Spain) and is experiencing tremendous growth. They are backed by some of the top VCs in town and currently looking for a Finance Manager. The role: As Finance Manager / Business controller you'll be at the heart of the business - ensuring to set up the appropriate finance processes and follow our Client's operations across its different markets (France, Spain, UK). This senior role will work directly alongside the COO and will have total ownership on finance operations. It's the opportunity to build, deploy and scale an operating model that is poised to disrupt the restaurant industry. The role will be pivotal in making the business become the world-leader virtual restaurant chain.

Responsibilities:
Leading the financial strategy - understanding the cultural, legal and competitive landscape to ensure we are constantly evolving and innovating to respond to our customer needs; Challenging the status quo - assessing the finance environment (controlling, invoicing, accounting, reporting, auditing) and implementing process improvements to bring finance operations to the next level; Building a team - defining the strategy as to insourcing vs. outsourcing the operations and hiring a team of specialists to ensure efficiency across the finance organization; Ensuring tax and accounting accuracy - coordinating the workflows between all parties involved and being the ultimate gatekeeper for any financial matter; Proposing financial deals - identifying and pursuing financing opportunities through relevant private and public channels (competitiveness, research, innovation, investment loans, etc.); Setting-up analytical reports - evaluating the key performance indicators at the group level and defining the most relevant reporting frequency and format for management and investors; Running ad-hoc financial analysis - focusing on specific projects driven by management team on strategic priorities (real-estate or machinery investments, profitability objectives, funds raising, etc.). You: At least 4 years experience, you have developed an holistic understanding of all finance functions (controlling, accounting, invoicing, reporting and auditing) Worked previously in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) or in food start-up. Possess a hands-on mentality, ready to take the challenge of structuring the activity and allowing a pioneer business to quickly scale across different markets.
