Audit Senior
Search Consultancy is currently recruiting a part-qualified Audit Senior for a leading independent accountancy firm based in the centre of Edinburgh. In this role you will work with clients in a wide range of sectors, including PLCs, charities, pension schemes and property groups. You will be responsible for managing the entire audit process, from planning through to completion and ensure that work is completed within agreed budget and timescales. Additionally you will be fully supported in your road to qualifying as a Chartered Accountant. Key
responsibilities:
Audit of accounts for a client portfolio from a variety of sectors across the middle market in Scotland Reporting directly to Managers and Partners, keeping them updated regarding progress Assisting with training sessions internally Developing and maintaining strong relationships within your portfolio Ensuring that work is completed within agreed budgets and timescales Undertake ad hoc work as required Required Skills/Knowledge: ACA/ACCA newly, nearly or part qualified Experience of working within audit in practice - Essential Excellent communication skills, both written and oral Demonstrable experience of working well within a team In return you will be provided with a highly competitive salary, study support to achieve CA status and realistic progression opportunities.
