Accounts Director The High Volume Linen Division of the Johnson Service Group comprising Afonwen Laundry, Bourne Textile Services and PLS is one of the UK's largest laundry and linen hire companies. Due to continued expansion, we are seeking an Accounts Director, to support our key national accounts, covering many of the UK's leading brands in the corporate 4 star and budget hotel sectors across the UK. Responsibilities of this role include: Representing the Company positively whilst visiting our client hotels, building great relationships along the way; Supporting the Senior Account Director in looking after a selection of key accounts, covering monthly, quarterly and annual review meetings Undertake account Management in conjunction with the Senior Account Director for Johnsons Hotel Linen Customers for Afonwen, Bourne and PLS and individual and group Hotels on a regular and systematic basis, to include accurate reporting of issues, preparation of a monthly report, coordination of group activities to General Managers and site Directors; Provide day-to-day enquiry handling and full customer support for all allocated customers; Liaise with account management team activities and issues; Attend service review meetings with customers and internally; Arrange customer visits to the production facilities; Manage customer account installs; Ensure all proposals meet company's strategy and objectives, seeking guidance as required; Submit a weekly report of movements; Submit a month report of outcomes and proposed future activity; Reporting any service or quality issues to the Operations Director and Managing Director and others, as directed; Fulfil other reasonable tasks as may be required from time to time for the general benefit of the business; and Represent the company professionally and have a real passion for customer service in a business to business environment and ideally have a strong interest in the hospitality industry. Due to the nature of the role you should be geographically be able to commute on a daily basis to one of the business in either Reading, Birmingham or Chester. Applicants from other areas may be considered but given the amount of travelling to customers' offices which are predominantly London/SE based or North West based, you must live in a suitable geographic location to be able to effectively fulfil the role. The Candidate: Clean Driving licence; Understand the linen industry ideally or at least have a background in the hospitality sector; Flexible approach to working hours and willingness to travel UK wide; Experience of working with national accounts at Director level; Customer service and account management experience is essential ; Displaying energy, resilience and creativity, and the drive to lead and motivate a team; Strong organisational and planning skills, an attention to detail, and an appreciation of deadlines; Excellent commercial awareness.
