Assistant Accountant

Assistant Accountant job 6 month FTC £25k-£30k Mid/South Kent. Need excellent Excel skills & Available

Your new company
You will be working for an established organisation in the Mid/South Kent area. The Assistant Accountant job will support the Financial Controller on multiple tasks. This is a 6 month Fixed Term Contract and requires someone to start immediately.

Your new role
You will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of management accounts, cash flow forecasting, job costings, sales invoices and assist with month end reports.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need recent experience in a similar role dealing with data manipulation and assisting with management accounts (accruals/prepayments etc). You will need excellent Excel skills including pivot tables, vlookups and sumif statements, Macros would be an advantage. You will need to be pro-active and able to complete tasks with minimal supervision. You will need to be able to start immediately and commit to the full 6 month contract.

What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary in the region of £25k - £30k dependant on experience with 33 days holiday pro-rata to 6 months.
