Job Details

The role will be predominantly responsible for the daily finance activities of UK and Ireland entities. You will sit alongside two other Management Accountants and will report directly into a supportive Senior Finance Controller.

Client Details

The business is a market leading and multi-national organisation specialising in the manufacturing industry. Around the world, they have over 5000 employees looking after three areas of the manufacturing sector. They have rigid growth plans and are expected to grow three-fold by 2029. This role in particular will sit within their sales and services site in Solihull but will provide exposure to other business units in the UK.

Description

You will be responsible for the timely completion of the month end process which will include reporting to the corporate.

Perform month end close activities in line with IFRS and business accounting guidelines whilst implementing new accounting and reporting requirements into systems and processes where appropriate.

There will be strong elements of business partnering within the role as you will be expected to translate financial information to the Sales and Hardware teams on-site. You will act as the first point of contact for financial matters across the business unit in Solihull.

Work closely with the Senior Financial Controller in preparing annual reports and forecasts.

Profile

The successful candidate will have had experience or the potential to move into a commercially focused finance role. You will therefore have the confidence to work proactively on behalf of finance in supporting other areas of the business to support business efficiency.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Newly qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA accountant.

Had experience in different areas of the finance.

Experience within a large or multi-national business.
