The purpose of the role is to provide 12 months maternity cover for the college Finance Assistant, undertaking a variety of roles including purchase and sales ledger and cash management. Inputting bank transactions onto the Finance system and completing bank reconciliations for the college, academy school and all subsidiaries, you will carry out daily cashing up and banking procedures and maintain daily college cash flow records and student bursary records. You will also create and monitor fee payment plans, process purchase invoices and assist with credit control where necessary. With a minimum of 12 months experience of working in a finance department and qualified to AAT level 3 or above, candidates must have an excellent eye for detail and strong time management and organisational skills. Excellent IT skills including MS Excel, Word and Outlook are essential for the role. All offers of employment are subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure and other employment checks.
