Sf Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Credit Supervisor to join our client based in Newark on a full time permenant basis. My client is looking for a commercially minded, who has experience of setting and managing customer credit limits in a varied B2B environment. Strong communication skills are required as this role interacts with many different areas of the business. Reporting to the Financial Controller the role is responsible for supervising four direct reports who cover all elements of the sales and purchase ledger, experience in these areas will be highly beneficial. Main Duties Credit Risk Management - Setting credit limits for new customers - Approving customer order which exceed the set credit limit - Management of current credit facilities to ensure these are appropriate - Escalation point for credit control issue - Support and guidance on aged debt chasing Processing Duties - Set up non UK Customer Accounts - Sales credit notes - Counter Sign daily bank reconciliation - Maintain accurate customer and supplier data Team Support Duties - Working as part of a team with a positive attitude and approach to duties - Problem solving and support to sales ledger and purchase ledger - Problem solving and support to sales team - Working toward process improvements within the accounts function - Assist in the training of new and existing staff as needed with the Financial Controller - Ad hoc project work as required The successful candidate must have at least 2-3 years experience in the above areas.
