Job Title:
Senior Accountant About the Company Our Client is an independent professional services firm that looks after the affairs of a portfolio of businesses and private clients worldwide. Services offered include taxation, audit, accountancy and outsourcing, company and trust management, and corporate finance. They operate across all industry sectors and their clients include HNWIs, entrepreneurs and owner-managed businesses. Role overview They are looking for a qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA or equivalent) to work within either there Bristol or London office. They are looking for a positive, professional and experienced accountant. The role will be to help develop the Accounting function within the group including the review of statutory financial accounts for client companies and Trusts in many jurisdictions, providing professional advice to clients on accounting matters and assisting with the management training and development of staff in the team. Key responsibilities
• Management of a team of accountants responsible for the preparation of both management and statutory accounts to UK audit and accounting standards
• Responsibility for a book of clients (preparation of accounts, looking after and developing client relationships
• Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy
• Interact with auditors in completing audits Required Experience and qualifications:
• Qualified to ACCA, ACA or equivalent
• 2 years post qualification accounting experience in a client-focused environment
• Proven experience of producing statutory accounts and up to date knowledge of auditing and accounting standards
• Proven experience of managing a team
• Time spent working in practice Benefits:
