ROLE PURPOSE: Working closely with senior management, providing financial analysis and business support, you will have a well-developed commercial awareness and be keen to take a lead role in having significant impact on business processes and decisions. You will be able to work in a rapidly changing environment and have the interpersonal skills to influence and build relationships with a diverse group of business professionals. Preparation of timely monthly management account information Support the completion of the statutory consolidation and statutory accounts Preparing detailed variance and key performance indicators analysis Assist in developing and upgrading the group internal reporting system The successful candidate will have exceptional attention to detail and communication skills. This is a fantastic opportunity within a growing group where future opportunities will be available. SKILLS: 1. Knowledge of accounting to full statutory reporting requirements. 2. Understand Bank, Wages, Nominal, Purchase, and Sales Ledger functions. 3. Comfortable using fully integrated ERP Systems, encompassing Purchasing, Sales, MRP and Stock modules. 4. Ability to interpret and produce Management Accounts, within an agreed timetable. 5. Advanced user of Microsoft Suite systems, with particular emphasis on excel spreadsheets. 6. File Server Administration. 7. Staff management and excellent communication skills. 8. Able to work under pressure in a friendly atmosphere, customer focused and be part of a team. 9. Sales Ledger: 1. Credit Control and risk management including credit checking and foreign currency exposure control 2. Assist with analytical analysis of sales trends and sales reporting Costing: 1. Job costing and margin analysis. 2. Overhead cost review, maintaining actual overhead cost spends comparisons to budget and variance analysis. 3. Work in conjunction with outsourced system provider to provide bespoke amendments, which enable automatic costing on existing products for any sales orders. Treasury Management 1. Monthly/Weekly Cash Flow forecasting. 2. Special projects cash requirements and general treasury management Nominal Ledger: 1. Maintain Chart of Accounts and Projects Codes within accounting system. 2. Balance Sheet and control account Reconciliations. 3. Intercompany/departmental accounts. 4. Integration of nominal systems across the Group entities Budgeting & Forecasting: 1. Assist in the budgeting and re-forecasting processes. 2. Ad-hoc investment proposals (projects, capital purchases) General Management/ad-hoc: 1. Provide support in the general management of the finance function across sites. 2. Assist with the continued development of the internal accounting system at Great Yarmouth. 3. Ad-hoc reporting in support of requirements from Group function and investors
