An exciting opportunity has arisen working for a company based in the Rowley Regis area, this will be working within the Accounts department. We are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant with great organisation skills, to assist in Sales Ledger and purchase ledger aspects of our Finance Team. The responsibilities for this role are; Raising Sales invoices Purchase Ledger - posting invoices to supplier accounts Nominal and VAT coding Assist the accounts team with any other accounts or admin duties Bank reconciliation Petty cash/Credit card reconciliation Knowledge of Excel spreadsheets would be highly advantageous Reconciling monthly supplier statements and solving discrepancies Posting payments to relevant accounts timeously Successful candidates will possess the following skills and attributes: Good communication and interpersonal skills Good attention to detail/accuracy The successful Accounts will ideally have solid experience in a similar role. Sage Line 50 experience is essential

Salary:
£9.00 - £10 per hour (around £20k depending on experience) Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 08.30 am to 16.30om Friday 08.30 to 3.00 pm You ideally would have worked within one of the following roles: Accounting, Finance Assistant, Purchase Ledger Clerk, Sales Ledger Clerk This is an excellent opportunity to join an established organisation with prospects.
