Financial Reporting Accountant Sitting within the Financial Reporting team of one of our financial services clients, this role will cover BAU financial reporting duties. Typical engagements will include regulatory/statutory reporting, frequent liaison with other teams (fund accounting, actuaries), and more ad hoc advisory work. In addition to the day to day financial reporting, you'll be expected to actively contribute to ensuring the team and business keep up with new reporting developments, as well as play a key role in the continuous development of relevant processes and systems. Core Duties Quarterly regulatory reporting Semi-annual statutory reporting Act as a trusted advisor to the business for accounting queries Assist with system implementations/upgrades Actively contribute to process improvement Candidate Specification: Qualified / Finalist accountant Financial services experience Knowledge of statutory reporting & IFRS / UK GAAP Knowledge of Solvency II (preferable) Strong time management Strong analytical mindset
