Huntress are recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk in Bishops Stortford for this highly reputable, well established and prestigious client for a 4-6 week assignment. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading business in the area and Reports into the Finance Manager. Working in a busy team, typical duties and responsibilities will include the following Process all invoices logged onto the system Coding and matching invoices to PO numbers Handle all queries effectively Liaise with suppliers to resolve invoice disputes Reconcile Supplier statements ensuring all invoices have been received Chase outstanding Proof of Deliveries Ensure payment of invoices is made according to company policy The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and have sound knowledge of how a finance function operates. You must have good system and excel skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. Experience of using Sage would be highly advantageous.
