Business Analyst - Doncaster - up to £24,000 - Permanent My client is a large Insurance provider who is looking to recruit a Business Analyst to join their expanding team in Doncaster. To be successful in this role you will need the following skills: Advanced IT skills and experience of Microsoft Excel, Word and Access. The ability to work with detailed and technical information. The skill to logically analyse and solve problems. Ability to develop new solutions Highly motivated and have the ability to undertake multiple tasks at the same time. Ability to prioritise with good time management skills Can work to and meet deadlines Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Excellent interpersonal skills Attention to detail The purpose of the role is to build and maintain MI across the group using reporting tools ensuring best practice adhered to. The role also provides support to the all teams throughout the company in the form of data validation, Monitoring of Service Levels and Operational Software User Security, Microsoft/IT support and training, telephone cover and general administration support. Responsibilities:
Report Generation Activities Generating & maintain reports using various reporting tools including but not limited to Business Objects, Qlik, SQL and Lumira. Generate ad-hoc reports using best practice risk management techniques. Communicating facts and findings to directors and senior management to assist in the development and implementation of long-term business strategies. Liaising with clients/underwriters/customers. Data Management Data validation and cleansing. Systems Maintenance & Development Beta testing and development of the companies' in house operating systems. Assist in other department staff training for software modifications. Basic Administration Support Assist in the basic administration tasks required, which may include ;letter writing, typing, policy input, mail merging, PDF formatting This is a great opportunity for an analytically minded person who enjoys working with statistics.
