Accountant Manager required for a fast-paced accountancy firm based in Southgate. The Accountant will be required to manage a varied portfolio of clients, monitor assistant accountant's performance and assist with team development. The qualified Accountant will be an experienced supervisor of staff and have PQE of at least 6 years. The Accounts Manager will be ACA or ACCA qualified and have a strong accounts and tax background. Accounts Manager Position Overview Statutory accounts preparation including year-end adjustments and accounts disclosures as well as management accounts and VAT Oversee day-to-day operations Manage team, including performance, training and reward and recognition Assist with internal recruitment Review year-end financial statements and tax returns Manage a portfolio of clients for statutory accounts, management accounts, VAT, bookkeeping, corporation tax Tax planning on dividends and salary for clients Advisory letters to clients with finalised accounts Management reporting for clients Maintaining client contact and relationships Accounts Manager Position Requirements ACCA/ACA qualified At least 6 years' PQE in Practice At least 2 years supervisory experience within financial reporting/tax Strong leadership skills Strong MS Office, Sage, Xero and QuickBooks experience Good commercial acumen Excellent time management and priority setting An understanding of the pressures and importance of effective portfolio management Ability to communicate well with clients and understand their requirements Accounts Manager Position Remuneration Salary between £37,000 to £43,000 per annum Good holiday package Excellent working environment Bennett & Game Recruitment are acting as a Recruitment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
