I am recruiting for a Credit Controller on a temporary contract for our client based in Maidstone Parkwood The Role This role will drive improvements in performance by evaluating processes, credit risks and establishing strong relationships with the CRM teams to ensure timely cash collections and minimise bad debt risk exposure Key Duties Maximise debt recovery with terms To keep bad debt losses to a minimum To maintain comprehensive audit trail of all communications To ensure the business unit is kept informed of customers that exceed their terms and conditions To escalate the debt collection process in line with the business policy To ensure the recovery of debt is appropriate in the circumstances Proactively highlight and manage any negative cash flow impacts Investigate alternative approaches to dealing with the customers' debtor and corresponding credit balances Ensure timely delivery of consolidated account invoicing and payment requests Manage chasing of outstanding accounts Reconcile customer accounts as required Ensure historic (legacy) aged debt is tackled in a consistent and effective manner Build strong customer relationships This role with also involve general administrative duties Previous experience of working within Credit Control Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office packages Possess good interpersonal and communication skills Excellent organisational skills, time management and prioritisation skills Monday - Friday 37hrs per week Connect2Staff/Connect2Kent, part of Commercial Services Trading/Kent Ltd, is an equal opportunities Employment Agency & Business and positively encourages applications from all suitably qualified and eligible candidates
