Compliance Officer. An award-winning Legal 500 firm is looking for an experienced compliance officer to join their office in Peterborough. This role reports directly into the head of compliance and will form a vital member of the compliance department. You will primarily be based in their Peterborough office & occasionally be required to visit other offices. The main purpose of this role is to provide support to the head of compliance and to ensure the firm is compliant with all applicable legislation, regulatory requirements and quality standards, as well as professional standards and internal policies. The compliance officer will act as the first point of contact for all compliance and audit queries and be responsible for investigating breaches and following up corrective actions, maintaining important records and processing applications for various quality accreditations. Experience:
• Experience working in a similar role
• Experience working with quality accreditations
• Proficient in Microsoft office products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of Riliance software is an advantage (not essential)
