Our client, a global business, require an FP&A Analyst to join their team on an initial 3-4 month basis. The role, based in West London, will report into the FP&A Manager and the responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Support FP&A Manager, Head of Commercial Finance and the business in all aspects of the annual budget, forecast and long term planning processes, including consolidation and analysis of regional plans and developing P&L, balance sheet and cash forecasts where required Interpret financial information and analysis, supporting effective management decisions using benchmarking, trends and other planning and forecasting methods; develop and implement improvements to the planning processes Support the FP&A Manager to produce ad hoc and routine analysis to a high standard, including recommendations and understanding of business objectives Identify opportunities for analysis, delivering to the Head of Commercial Finance and FP&A Manager when requested, to support decision-making The successful candidate will: Preferably qualified (CIMA, ACA, ACCA, or similar) or with proven experience as an Analyst or Management Accountant in a commercial business environment; Strong numerical and analytical skills reflecting an ability to manipulate and interpret data, to provide meaningful and useful analysis for decision making purposes; Experience of forecasting, reporting and consolidations in a complex multinational, multi-currency business preferable; A strong working knowledge of SAP/Business Warehouse is preferable;
