A leading global IT and technology organisation, based in Alderley Edge, are looking to recruit an experienced Financial Accountant to assist them during an extremely busy period. The Role and Responsibilities of the Financial Accountant position will include: Preparation of UK and Ireland entity financial statements (FRS101) Preparation of group consolidated financial statements (IFRS) Key contact with auditors and co-ordinator of the group audit process Maintain reconciliations between management and statutory accounts Prepare the group consolidation monthly consisting of 10 trading entities in 5 currencies Manage deliverables required for group consolidation from stakeholders Consolidated balance sheet review monthly with Group FC Preparation of consolidated fixed assets, intangibles and reserves schedules monthly Prepare group balance sheet for monthly reporting Intercompany reporting Prepare management accounts for holding companies quarterly Consideration of changes to accounting standards and impact on financial statements Ensure financial statements reflect current IFRS and UK GAAP reporting requirements Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for 5 entities including: investments, forex revaluation, inter-company codes and reserves Assist with review of other balance sheet reconciliations: fixed assets, VAT, Tax The successful individual will; Be ideally ACA or ACCA qualified Have strong excel and systems skills Prior experience of using an ERP will be beneficial Be available at short notice If you would like to apply for this Financial Accountant role or find out more, please apply online or contact Xavier Parisi at Robert Walters on or .
