A leading business within the retail and hospitality space, recruiting for a Payroll/Finance professional to join on a permanent basis. This company focus on the affluent, high end space based in South Bermondsey.
Your new role
You will play a pivotal part in the finance function with a large proportion of your role focusing on the payroll. You will be in a sole payroll position, processing the in-house payrolls from start to finish using Sage 50. The payroll is a combination of weekly and monthly for a manageable headcount. In addition to your payroll responsibilities, you will be assisting the wider finance team with various processes such as cash-book reconciliations, reconciling payroll and monthly cost variance analysis. Exposure to payroll year end, with an understanding of P60's and P11D's would be very beneficial.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be selected for interview, it is essential that you have a good understanding, and experience of working a start to finish payroll. You will know how to use Excel, having used VLOOKUP's and Pivot Tables and ideally have dealt with payroll year end.
