Your new company is a very well established business in Rossendale, who over the past 40 years have seen exponential amounts of growth. Due to their continued growth, they are looking for an Management Accountant to join their strong and long serving team of 4 on a permanent and full time basis.
Your new role
Your new role as Management Accountant will involve you reporting directly to the Company Accountant, where you will be assisting with the preparation of the monthly management accounts inclusive of accruals and prepayments, whilst posting month end journals, monthly stock journals and reconciling month end margins. You will also be posting the cashbook and nominal transactions, posting inter-company transactions and reconciliation the inter-company account balances. This is a full time role, working Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:00pm.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful for this role, you should be AAT qualified or qualified by experience. In terms of systems, you will have worked with SAGE previously and have advanced IT skills, with a preference of excellent Excel skills inclusive of v-lookups, pivot tables and SUMIFs. You should be an excellent team player, self motivated and proactive whilst demonstrating the ability to learn and develop.
What you'll get in return
In return for this, you will be offered a permanent salary between £23,000 - £26,000 which is dependent on experience.
