Description
The key responsibilities of the Interim Part-time Financial Controller include:
- Production and submission of monthly, quarterly and year end reports and management accounts
- Preparation of data for statutory accounts
- Liaison with reporting accountants/tax advisors
- Liaison with HMRC and other tax authorities
- Management of P&L and Balance Sheet
- Cost control & variance analysis
- Management of revenue recognition
- Sales and purchase ledger input
- Debtor/creditor control
- UK. and Slovenian VAT and other returns
- Setting up/authorisation of payments
- Inventory accounting with primary manufacturer
- Data protection compliance
- Payroll
Profile
The successful Interim Part-time Financial Controller will have:
- Degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, or a related field
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Superior mathematical skills
- Leadership skills and experience
- Understanding of data privacy standards
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Superior attention to detail
- Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills
- Commercially ambitious
