Description

The key responsibilities of the Interim Part-time Financial Controller include:

  • Production and submission of monthly, quarterly and year end reports and management accounts
  • Preparation of data for statutory accounts
  • Liaison with reporting accountants/tax advisors
  • Liaison with HMRC and other tax authorities
  • Management of P&L and Balance Sheet
  • Cost control & variance analysis
  • Management of revenue recognition
  • Sales and purchase ledger input
  • Debtor/creditor control
  • UK. and Slovenian VAT and other returns
  • Setting up/authorisation of payments
  • Inventory accounting with primary manufacturer
  • Data protection compliance
  • Payroll

Profile

The successful Interim Part-time Financial Controller will have:

  • Degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, or a related field
  • ACA or ACCA qualified
  • Superior mathematical skills
  • Leadership skills and experience
  • Understanding of data privacy standards
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Commercially ambitious
