My client, a creative media company are in the City of London are seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their Finance team. The successful candidate will be a passionate and enthusiastic accountant who is hands on, reliable and Part Qualified (ACCA/CIMA). As the Assistant Accountant you will be reporting directly into the Finance Director. Duties &
Responsibilities:
Recording financial transactions & maintaining company ledgers Managing client invoicing Managing trade payables and trade debtor ledgers Recording cash receipts and handling bank deposits Fixed asset management Supporting the Senior management accountant on; reconciliations, month-end and year-end close & preparing information for auditors Reconciliation and submission of monthly payroll and pension payments Ad hoc duties as required Essential Requirements: At least 2 years of relevant prior experience Educated to degree level (2:1 and above) Team player and great communicator Strong Excel skills is essential Experience using QuickBooks is desirable Knowledge of UK GAAP and Accounting Principles This position is looking to pay up to £32,000 with additional benefits.
