Sharp Consultancy are working exclusively on behalf of a rapidly growing organisation based in Chesterfield. Due to organic growth, they are looking to expand their busy finance team by recruiting an experienced Accounts Assistant who will be reporting directly into the Senior Finance Manager. In your role as the Accounts Assistant you will take on various duties and responsibilities. Your main responsibilities will include: Responsibility for both AP / AR function for several key clients Processing invoices on Sage and matching to PO's and GRN's. Dealing with supplier queries. Statement reconciliations. Bank reconciliations for several bank accounts daily / weekly. Assisting with VAT returns. Full responsibility for the sales ledger function for 1 site within the Group. Raising sales invoices daily. Dealing with queries. Cash allocation. The successful candidate will ideally have: Good knowledge of SAGE Line 50 Experience within an Accounts Receivable role Good inter-personal skills This is an outstanding role for any Accounts Assistant who is looking to add some real value to the business.
