Rutherford Briant are currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant based in Harlow. Our client is a Global Leading distributor with an ever expanding worldwide presence. This role will be responsible for ensuring that all month-end reporting is completed in a timely and accurate manner whilst working towards continuous improvement projects within the finance team. Typical Duties Include: Completion of month-end financial statements Production and Posting of Journals, Accruals & Prepayments and making all necessary adjustments Consolidation of Management Accounts for multiple Group Subsidiaries Assisting with Year-End accounting, including preparation of Statutory Accounts and Tax Returns Completion of VAT returns, EC Sales List and Intrastat Review of Internal Controls and Policies Management of Fixed Asset Register Preparing detailed Variance Analysis Ad-Hoc project based work The ideal candidate will be ACCA/CIMA Part-Qualified or Newly Qualified with prior experience of working in a corporate organisation.
