Orka Financial is working with a growing Software business based in Slough to recruit a Group FP&A Analyst. This role would ideally suit a qualified accountant (ACA,ACCA,CIMA) who has excellent stakeholder engagement skills and enjoys working with and manipulating data. As a software business, data interpretation and analytical insight are key to the value the finance team add to the business. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of systems and data manipulation, an inquisitive approach to management information, willingness to challenge the norm, and a commercial instinct to interpret and present the output in a way that will enhance decision making. This role will offer exposure to C level stakeholders and offer exposure to both the cost and revenue sides of the P&L. - Preparing and maintaining Consolidated Financial Modelling for the Group. - Adapting and reporting to meet evolving business requirements. - Business Partnering C-Level execs to ensure they understand and manage their areas effectively - Preparing monthly consolidated financial reporting whilst performing reconciliation to underlying financial data. - Maintaining Group Headcount forecasts by working closely with HR and finance business partners - Building relationships with other functions and with key stakeholders to enhance collaboration across the business - Utilizing of various systems and data warehouse to deliver and enhance the management information that drives the Group. - Sharing best practice with the finance leads of the other business units - Supporting provision of consolidated group Board Reporting - Ad-hoc projects and analysis as required, for example working on integration of acquired businesses or process improvement. Profile - Proven business partnering skills/stakeholder engagement - Qualified accountant (ACA,CIMA,ACCA) - Strong Excel modelling skills and has a good understanding of systems - Works effectively under pressure - Attention to detail - Agility and adaptability - Ability to challenge the current processes and recommend improvements - Team Player - Commercial awareness Salary £52,000 - £58,000 bonus benefits
