Change Public Practice are working with a highly regarded firm of Chartered Accountants based in Dunfermline to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join their dynamic and fast-paced team. In this position, you will have the opportunity to work with clients in a wide range of sectors and will be responsible for building and maintaining these relationships. This role will suit an experienced Accounts Assistant who not only has the ability to produce accounts but is able to successfully analyse and review the figures and communicate this well to clients. This role will also support a professional qualification if you are would look to commence or continue your studies. Key responsibilities in this role include: - Service portfolio of clients in a pro-active manner - Updating clients accounting records - Preparation of statutory accounts for client base from the medical sector - Reporting into the Manager, you will work together to plan and schedule work within in your portfolio to meet strict deadlines To be considered for this role: - You will have at last 2 years' recent experience working in Practice - Part-Qualified and keen to continue a professional qualification such as ICAS or ACCA - Experience of preparing annual accounts is essential - Previous experience working with medical clients would be advantageous - Xero cloud based software experience is preferred - Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues The right person for this job must be ambitious, self-motivated and show a high level of initiative as there will be a level of autonomous working within the role. You will enjoy liaising with clients to discuss their accountancy matters and be commerically minded.
