Astute Finance Recruitment is working in partnership with a forward-thinking and hi-tech manufacturing business based in Mansfield seeking a Management Accountant to join their fast-paced team. This is an amazing opportunity for either a part-qualified or newly qualified professional, looking for excellent exposure to the Finance Director with the ambition of becoming a Finance Manager in the near future. The role:
• Production of monthly Group management accounts
• P&L and balance sheet forecasting identifying corrective action where appropriate to meet targets
• Driving improvements in management decision making capabilities
• Involvement in improvement projects across the business
• Management reports issued in line with business needs and all internal and external reporting timetables
• Budget completion in line with group requirements and timetable
• Manage all tax payments, returns and submissions and liaising with HMRC where necessary
• Quarterly VAT returns
• Ensure all areas of the business have access to financial information and support relevant to their individual needs
• Preparation of year end information and schedules that facilitate the year end audit Your experience:
• CIMA or ACCA part qualified, finalist or newly qualified
• Experience of working in a large and fast-paced organisation
• Strong analytical skills
• Exposure to lean environments
• Excellent systems and Excel knowledge The benefits:
• £35,000

• 10% bonus
• 33 days annual leave
