Im currently recruiting for a prestige company based in South Staffordshire. Due to considerable growth i have three positions within their accounting team that im looking to recruit for. Asset Accountant, Finance Accountant and Statutory Financial Accountant The company is growing year on year - organically and through acquisition. Time to put your career on the map Asset Accountant To ensure the Rental Fleet is accounted for, controlled and maintained in accordance with UK Accounting Principles along with the internal and external associated reporting requirements. Assist with the preparation of the Company's UK and subsidiaries Corporation Tax Return ensuring the business complies with all HMRC rules and guidelines while maximising the company's return 1. Maintain the fleet fixed asset registers for additions, transfers and disposals. 2. Ensure the fleet is accounted for correctly in accordance with accounting principles, maintaining records and reconciliations as required. 3. Reconciliations and associated fleet nominal accounts 4. Produce the fleet reports required for corporate, statutory and tax. 5. Prepare the calculation of long funded lease tax calculation. 6. Prepare the Company's UK and subsidiaries Corporation Tax Returns 7. Continue to review the processes within Fleet and Tax to ensure items are processed as reported in an efficient, accurate and timely manner. 8. Assist as and when required in the on boarding of new acquisitions. 9. Prepare and review intercompany reconciliations. 10. Assist with other group financial and tax reporting. 11. Assist in the preparation of group and company statutory accounts. You will have advanced Excel Skills, have a keen eye for detail and enjoy communicating with stakeholders across the business environments.
