Financial Controller - Commutable to Enfield The Package: Basic up to £87k, 30% Bonus, £7k Car Allowance, Life, Income Protection, Health, Pension The Company: Our client is the leading of high-quality products to the construction industry. The Role: As a Financial Controller you will support the accounting, reporting, analysis of financial results, forecasting, and internal control for our client's distribution operations. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to: Hire, train and mentor accounting and administrative staff Ensure accurate and timely monthly closing of financial statements Ensure accurate and timely management reporting of results of operations Maintain accounting and internal control procedures Financial planning: annual operating plan, quarterly financial forecasting within the framework of the corporate planning and forecasting process Financial decision support for CS-UK management and corporate Spending control and pre-approval of commitments to vendors Local treasury: Cash Flow management, payments, dealing with local banks, foreign exchange transactions Collection from customers Local tax and VAT matters in compliance with regulations Statutory reports SOX compliance, internal policies and procedures Desired Candidate Experience CPA with 5-7 years of professional accounting experience Experience in USGAAP is a distinct advantage Experience and knowledge of all aspects of corporate accounting and financial management Thorough knowledge of all relevant requirements regarding financial records, pension, profit sharing, and the like is essential Proficient communication, interpersonal and organizational skills Experience overseeing audits performed by external audit firms Financial analysis, budgeting and some strategic planning experience Knowledge of accounting principles, practices and application. Knowledge of budget preparation and analysis techniques Advanced knowledge of MS Office and Excel Management and or supervisory experience Broad Oracle knowledge and experience preferred
