We are excited to announce that we are working exclusively with Brightwells Auction House to recruit an Assistant Financial Controller for this leading provider of Auction services who principally work in the UK, with a presence in Europe. This is a unique opportunity for you to learn the nuts and bolts of a business with the ambition to become Financial Controller within 2 to 3 years. The current FC will mentor and support you to fully understand the complexities of the business, you will be willing to take on and learn all of this invaluable knowledge. Alongside this you will take full responsibility for key areas of business controls, consistently looking for improvements and making recommendations to refine in-house accounting software and systems to ensure maximum process efficiencies. You will get the opportunity to go out on site and attend auctions regularly to help you better understand the business. With a reputation for excellence, you will support this market leader in continuing to provide outstanding financial support to their customers. Able to take a hands on approach, you will be visible across the business, fully utilising your effective communication skills and can do attitude. With excellent organisation skills you will be methodical and will relish the great variety and long term opportunity this position will give you.
