We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to take responsibility of the businesses finance functions. You will work closely with senior management to provide administrative and financial support across all areas of the group. Based in our Covent Garden offices and working within a close-knit team, the ideal person will be highly organised, efficient and personable. They will also be a self-motivated team player who has a keen interest in Events, Marketing & E-commerce. Experience using Quickbooks and Microsoft Office is essential. As part of a small team you will also be required to take on office manager responsibilities to ensure smooth running of the office and administration systems. The key duties are: Key Duties: Responsible for the day to day accounting Produce financial accounts up to trail balance Sales ledger including raising invoices and credit control Purchase ledger including raising purchase orders, entering invoices and weekly payment runs Manage company credit cards Process staff expense claims Payroll including timesheet management, PAYE/NIC returns and pension scheme VAT returns and EC sales returns Cash flow management General office management- answering calls, mail, stationery, insurance, printers and phones Reconciliations for banks and credit cards Stock management Work closely with the FD to ensure smooth operation of all finance matters Implement and maintain financial and administrative systems and procedures Ideal Candidate: The role will suit someone who is dynamic, ambitious and looking to progress within a small business environment. You will be organised, have high attention to detail and be passionate about providing the best possible levels of service both internally and externally. You will also be efficient and capable of working on your own initiative and able prioritise your own workload. Requirements: Qualified or part qualified AAT/ACCA/CIMA Experience of bookkeeping in a similar role for at least 3 years Experience using Quickbooks Knowledge of Excel and MS Strong organisational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (in all levels of business) Enthusiastic, reliable and punctual Analytical with high attention to detail Ability to work independently as well as in a team Must have the ability to work well under pressure and deliver within required deadlines, often in a fast-paced work environment Previous experience working with a creative business; ideally events, marketing or e-commerce What we offer: Your health is our health so we genuinely care that you look after yourselves.
