I'm working for a FTSE Travel and Tourism business based in Central London where I am hiring a Group Financial Accountant. This business is going through a huge Finance transformation so they can adapt to the fast-changing technology landscape. The role of Group Financial Accountant will include: Managing the P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, monthly management reporting and quarterly statutory reporting Reviewing the MI and stat packs submitted by local finance teams Preparing notes, primary statements and management analysis for the interim and annual consolidated financial statements Leading and supporting on project work and continuous improvement initiatives Writing technical accounting papers to be presented at the GARC Providing regular IFRS and other trainings to local Finance teams The suitable candidate for the role of Group Financial Accountant must be/have: FULLY ACA qualified from a Big 4 background, with exposure to large corporate clients Strong technical accounting knowledge A driven and committed team player with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work unsupervised and deliver high quality work to tight deadlines Strong knowledge of different accounting systems and packages, for example Hyperion and Oracle
