Based at West Middlesex University Hospital in Isleworth Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (Chelwest) provide services from two main hospitals, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and West Middlesex University Hospital, and a number of clinics across London and the South-East. The two hospitals formally joined forces to become one NHS Foundation Trust on 1 September 2015. An exciting opportunity has arisen within finance which reports into the Deputy Head of Operations. The key responsibilities of the Capital Business Partner will include: To provide leadership and management of the Trusts in year capital programme and also on its five year capital strategy. To be the expert in all aspects of fixed asset accounting ensuring any changes in regulations, guidance and accounting standards for fixed assets are communicated to all relevant parties and implemented effectively. To be the lead contact and management of the Trusts PFI estate and finance leases and to ensure that the PFI financial model is updated annually and accurate accounting for finance leases with current guidance To coordinate and manage the production of the annual statutory accounts around fixed assets, ensuring that work is completed on a timely basis so that internal and external reporting deadlines are met The successful candidate will either have completed their accountancy qualification (or be part-qualified) and be looking for an opportunity to make a real difference in a high performing Trust. The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills and be confident to effectively communicate complex finance issues to non-finance people.
