Working exclusively on a retained basis with a leading Scottish car dealership, Reed Finance are currently recruiting for an experienced senior accountant with previous motor trade experience. Reporting directly to the group Director, the role is perfect for an experienced candidate looking for a flexible role in which they can shape their own duties. Responsibilities Operating as the senior finance team member for the site, the successful candidate will be responsible for: Monthly production of journals, BS reconciliations, & supporting documentation Collating information and producing monthly accounts Group cash flow forecasting processes Processing general ledger transactions Reporting on profit and loss Overseeing year end process The ideal candidate will be a strong character with formal accountancy qualification / QBE and will also be from a motor trade background. The ideal candidate should also have: Experience with a range of finance systems Excellent time management and the ability to work towards tight deadlines A track record of delivering results from early on In return for the above my client can provide a £40,000 - £45,000 FTE salary and bonus scheme as well as a fully flexible working pattern.
