A growing international organisation based in North Hampshire, close to the Surrey border, are seeking to recruit a Group Accountant. This is a key new role as part of a finance transformation programme. Reporting to the Chief Accountant the job holder will manage all aspects of month end and period reporting including consolidations across multiple international entities. The client is looking for someone who can drive efficiencies and who has a an improvement focussed mindset. Responsibilities will include delivering the UK GAAP statutory accounts, delivering half and year end Group audits and working closely with the Group FP&A team. The successful candidate is likely to be ACA Qualified and practice trained however ACCA and CIMA Qualified candidates with the requisite experience would be considered. You are likely to possess some PQE gained in industry however a recently qualified candidate seeking to leave a Big4 Firm with experience of auditing listed clients and with good IFRS exposure would also be considered.
