Payroll and Billing Manager Department: Finance

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Payroll and Billing Manager to join our Finance Team based at our London, Grays Inn road offices. Reporting into the Divisional Finance Director you will be overseeing our Payroll, Billing and Credit Control functions for some of our key brands. This is a role which involves driving operations to a high standard through continuous improvement by working and partnering with the business to identify improvement areas and structuring, planning and leading cross-functional end-to-end projects from start to finish, dealing with operational efficiency, process improvement, and compliance that ultimately contribute towards our strategic business targets. This is a pivotal role to our business which ensures all our business processes and systems are fit for purpose, well implemented and developed as the needs of the business and our clients change over time.
Responsibilities:
Business Process Improvements and system implementations Management responsibility of our Payroll, Billing and Credit Control Teams Managing the relationship between the finance functions and the Sales Team Heads/ Directors. Overall responsibility for ensuring tax and statutory and reporting compliance within the payroll function. Constantly striving to ensure client and candidate expectations are exceeded and data quality standards are of the highest level. Ultimate escalation point for candidate and client queries Assistance in the Year End Audit process Involvement in new business projects About You Strong people management skills Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills Ability to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders Ability to work towards targets Qualifications Previous management experience within a similar function is essential Knowledge of Payroll and Billings operations is essential Credit Control experience desirable Payroll systems experience essential.
