Reed Finance are delighted to be partnered with an employer of choice to recruit a finance business partner. Key duties include:
• A business partner for budget holders including: budgeting, forecasting and bids -reports including commentary and attendance at monthly management meetings of the services.
• Producing and presenting any business cases to the board for investment opportunities in services
• Producing commercially astute, robust forecasts for the senior management team
• Developing and enhancing KPIs
• Monitoring levels of cost and outstanding debt
• Continuously highlighting both risk and strategic opportunity
• Working with the finance team and all relevant stakeholders within e.g. IT, HR, BI
• Responsible for supporting the Senior Finance Business Partner in financial modelling of existing and new services and working with the heads of services and the Director of Development & Strategy in relation to this. Attending meetings with senior members of staff to present the criteria and details of the financials and implementing any changes required to the models.
• Supporting the other Finance Business Partners as required
• Support the Assistant Financial Accountant with banking tasks (DD, SO, Petty Cash and Credit Cards)
• Internal Audit projects as set out by Head of Finance
• Full ownership of balance sheet reconciliations including ensuring full accountability Th ideal candidate will have excellent Excel skills and will hold a professional accounting qualification.
