A global brand management business based in Nottingham, who are involved in sports, outdoor and fashion markets are looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to start immediately on a temporary basis for an ongoing contract. You will report directly to the Accounts Payable Manager and perform all duties associated with the Accounts Payable function. Including weekly payment runs , manage the flow of invoices , supplier statement reconciliations and support the team when necessary. Key Responsibilities Proactively manage the flow of invoices and ensuring that suppliers are paid on time Maintain communication with suppliers regarding invoice queries associated with your allocated accounts Maintain and improve automation capability of SAP system, maximising invoices sent for approval without manual intervention Produce monthly supplier statement reconciliations and troubleshoot Resolve purchase order discrepancies and queries Perform AP month-end close tasks, posting accruals in line with month end timetable and producing reconciliations and reporting Skill set Ability to prioritise work effectively and meet deadlines Be driven, enthusiastic and can self-motivate A strong attention to detail with a methodical and logical approach Good verbal/written communication skills, able to confidently communicate and liaise with senior stakeholders Be able to work autonomously with minimal supervision Able to process complex invoices with commentary And understanding of accounting systems such as SAP Please send your CV through immediately should it match your experience and skill-set Radley Green acts as an employment agency for permanent roles and an employment business for temporary roles.
