This is a fantastic opportunity for a Part-Qualified Accountant to join a fantastic team in a wide ranging and challenging role. You may already be working within industry or looking for your first move outside of Professional Practice. As well as significant exposure to senior management, you will have the opportunity to progress in your career within a high performing Finance team where you will be supported to develop. You will be primarily involved with ensuring the integrity of the organisations ledgers by performing key reconciliations, analysis and dealing with queries and problems arising from this process as well as providing key budget and planning information for longer-term cash management purposes. In particular the role-holder will be solely responsible for processing, reconciling, analysis and reporting of the Fixed Assets with special attention paid to managing, monitoring and reporting on capital projects. This will be achieved through regular liaison with senior management, including project managers, advising on the correct accounting treatment of costs as necessary. In addition, the role-holder will ensure that all major capital planning decisions made by senior executives are incorporated into the organisations Capital plan and annual budget by attending the Strategic Asset Management Group and liaising with senior executive staff. In addition, the role-holder is responsible for gathering all information required to prepare, monitor and report on annual and quarterly cashflow forecasts.
