The Finance Business Partner will be responsible for providing finance business partnering the directorates, liaising at all levels and ensuring the delivery of robust financial plans, analysis and insight. The person needs to be a proactive and curious individual that is not afraid to challenge whilst being able to establish strong working relationships and influence at all levels.

Description

Key responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner include:

  • Provide quality management information for decision making
  • Provide strategic finance support to the Directorate
  • Deliver effective and efficient financial performance and evidence financial projections
  • Ensure processes, systems and controls, and that financial performance of the Directorates is analysed and communicated
  • Support in the preparation of annual budgets, long-term financial plans and forecasts
  • Support the Month End process
  • Support and challenge business teams and budget holders
  • Support in ensuring that strategic decision making is robust and supported by financial evidence
  • Support the preparation and analysis of financial business cases, setting up financial targets and systems to track performance
  • Ensure business cases are robustly modelled and conveyed to decision makers
  • Provide advice, interpretation and guidance on finance policies and procedures
  • Profile

    To be considered you must:

    Fully-qualified CCAB accountant e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA

    Able to identify, understand and present issues and solutions effectively

    Experience in organisational financial planning and budgeting processes

    Excellent communication skills into all levels of an organisation

    Curious nature, not afraid to challenge whilst building strong working relationships
