Finance Assistant - Temporary to Permanent Opportunity - Kingston - £12-15 per hour

A fast growing and award-winning organisation are looking to recruit a Finance Assistant to join their team. This organisation is located close to public transport links and are well known for the work they do within their area. They are passionate about their cause and are seeking to find an individual who can help contribute and provide support.

Your new role
You'll be primarily responsible for supporting the Finance Manager with the purchase ledger and sales ledger. This will include ensuring the raising of sales invoices, maintaining deferred income schedules for revenue recognition and maintain relationships with customers. In addition, you will be responsible for accurate coding and posting of all purchase invoices. You will prepare fortnightly payment runs and carrying out supplier statement reconciliations. You will check expense claims to ensure they comply with company policy and processing once approved. You will carry out management of petty cash, bank reconciliations, weekly cash flow planning and stock reconciliations.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful applicant will be studying towards an Accounting qualification or be looking to study. They will have previous experience within a busy Finance environment. Strong Excel (Pivot tables and V-lookup) would be preferred. Key skills that will ensure that you will succeed at this role will include being an excellent communicator, hardworking individual, immaculate attention to detail.
