Finance Assistant - South West London - Ethical Community Project - £28,000- £30,000 depending on experience

Your new role
You'll be primarily responsible for supporting the Finance Manager with the purchase ledger and sales ledger. This will include ensuring the raising of sales invoices, maintaining deferred income schedules for revenue recognition and maintain relationships with customers. In addition, you will be responsible for accurate coding and posting of all purchase invoices. You will prepare fortnightly payment runs and carrying out supplier statement reconciliations. You will check expense claims to ensure they comply with company policy and processing once approved. You will carry out management of petty cash, bank reconciliations, weekly cash flow planning and stock reconciliations.

What you'll need to succeed
It is essential candidates have previous experience of accounts payable and receivable processing. Candidates will ideally be currently or interested in studying towards an accountancy qualification. Candidates will be confident working in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a strong track record. It is essential that you have excellent processing skills and attention to detail with the initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision. Candidate must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work methodically under pressure to prioritise and manage your time to meet deadlines.
