Your key responsibilities will include

Supporting company management accountants, key responsibilities will include:

• Management of multiple purchase order systems and processing of purchase ledger invoices
• Resolving purchase order reconciliation issues with the production team and eCommerce team
• Assisting with month end procedures including preparing eCommerce sales invoices and eCommerce sales and bank reconciliations
• Sales ledger processing, including reviewing new channel sponsorship and branded content contracts
• Managing credit control, including sending monthly statements to clients, chasing payments via email and sending a monthly aged debt report to the commercial team
• Assisting with the year-end close and audit
• Other ad hoc duties as required

You will know that you’re doing a good job in the first few months if you

• Are self-sufficient around month end, providing reliable reconciliations and postings for review.
• Meet deadlines within the month end timetable.
• Are a fully integrated member of the team, working collaboratively across the department.

For this role, we need candidates to have

• Part qualification in AAT or equivalent
• Attention to detail
• Excellent numerical skills
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Good communication skills
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines
• Ambition to learn and grow and take on the responsibility
• Adaptability to a business that is growing and evolving
• Ability to work in a collaborative team

And ideally we’d like

• Sage 50 experience
• Experience of working within media or retail
• Good educational background
