Our client, a growing business located in Derby is looking for an accounts assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. The position is for someone who is used to a high volume, fast-paced accounts work. There is some payroll duties involved but it is not a major part of this role. Key

Responsibilities:
Oversee the Sales Ledger and Application Ledger, both on excel and Sage. Raising Invoices/Applications where necessary. Process receipts against the Sales Ledger to make sure on we know what is outstanding. Work with Surveyors / Management and external surveyors when there has been underpayments Provide weekly reports as to the outstanding debtor Daily bank reconciliations Process timesheets on Sage to Project Costings To process weekly and monthly payroll on Sage (approximately 15) To assist the Financial Controller with Management Accounts and Job-Costing as required.
