Financial Accountant Wolverhampton 12 month FTC Circa £43000 - £50000 per annum (depending on experience) Full time - Monday-Friday Prince Personnel are proud to be recruiting for a well-established prestigious manufacturing organisation based on the outskirts of Wolverhampton. They are looking for a Financial Accountant to join them on a 12 month fixed term contract Reporting to the Financial Controller, duties will include: Performing month end close process to ensure timely and accurate delivery of monthly results Ensure payrolls are accounted and recorded appropriately Support Financial "ownership" of UK entities, including oversight and approve applicable account reconciliations and monthly trend analysis Support preparation of bridge from US GAAP reporting to stat reporting Support US GAAP and stat audits for two UK sites, ensuring no material adjustments. Support Director of Tax with local UK tax filings as needed VAT Reporting Compliances for UK and BE registrations Ensure compliance with all policies as it relates to accounting, payables and procurement, as well as company travel and purchasing card usage Assist with development of policies as needed, to support new processes as technology or other aspects change the landscape Ensure compliance with external regulations for financial reporting Provide financial support for annual budget process Coordinate with Treasury on cash forecasting and cash movements as needed to fund 3rd party transactions Support M and A activities as needed Transitional support 2019 - support general business operation, including supporting inventory accounting, treasury and tax functions for two sites during the transition to the company organization structure, expected to take 9-12 months Ad -hoc projects as required To be considered for this role you must be fully qualified either, ACCA, CIMA or ACA.
