Proofreader & Artwork Compliance Executive: Do you have excellent English writing and reading skills, perhaps gained from working in an editorial, journalism, teaching or marketing role? Due to sustained growth an experienced Proofreader with exceptional attention-to-detail is required to review a high volume of English language products, most of which feature a large amount of original content, ensuring they are error-free and in line with branding guidelines. The Creative team or clients will generate written content for games that requires systematic reviews at key points in the production process. The role also requires execution of artwork compliance rules based around both branding and legal distribution guidelines.

Responsibilities:
To review content at stages of the production process ensuring it is of high quality, error free and adheres to brand and quality assurance guidelines. To ensure spelling and style are grammatically correct and consistent To communicate with a number of departments across a number of global offices to brief amends concisely and clearly, mainly to Studio and Graphic Designers. To ensure tone and phrasing of editorial is suitable for target audience and brand values To review artwork designs to ensure they comply with distribution guidelines and legal requirements To review product specifications to ensure the components match the artwork files To work with Brand Assurance and Artwork Compliance Manager to regularly review methods of working with a view to continually improving efficiency and quality. To be an ambassador of our Brand Guidelines for both our own Intellectual Property and our licensed products, to ensure consistency and accuracy across all brands and licenses. To work closely with international Brand Assurance and Artwork Compliance Team to stay up-to-date with legal information regarding toy safety, distribution addresses, legal markings, etc. and to communicate these to other departments. To become proficient at identifying the individual nuances of each brand: knowing the style guides, copyright lines, tones, target audiences, etc. Skills & Experience: Educated to Degree level, with an A-Level in English Language or Literature Two years' experience in an office environment Expert knowledge of spelling, grammar, syntax and punctuation Collaborative and cooperative outlook and attitude Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with meticulous attention-to-detail Strong organisation and prioritisation skills Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite - Desirable Knowledge of Google Drive - Desirable Additional languages or knowledge of other languages - Desirable Experience of publishing or product design and development environment - Desirable Knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator - Desirable This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Proofreader to join Winning Moves, an expanding, innovative toy and game company.
