Reporting to the Head of Group Finance the role will suit an ambitious qualified Accountant who has strong technical accounting skills and is either looking for a move from Practice into Industry or is currently working in Industry. You'll be working in the Group finance function, and will play a key role in providing financial information to the Board that will support them in managing the financial performance of the Group. As well as the reporting aspect of the role you will also be managing a small team and will be expected to support your team and play a key role in their development. Key

Responsibilities:
Monthly Group financial consolidation - Report monthly sales figures to CFO - Prepare the Group management accounts - Assist the preparation of monthly Board reporting - Drive continual process improvements Oversee the monthly head office management accounts - Ensure the timely completion of the monthly management account - Preparation and distribution of cost centre reports and quarterly reviews Preparation of the consolidated Group budget - Planning and execution of the annual Group budget - Preparation of the consolidated Group budget (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow) - Oversee the preparation of the Shared Services and plc budgets IFRS16 Lease accounting - Maintain data within the lease accounting software - Financial disclosures relating to IFRS16 - Implement ongoing process improvements Treasury - Ensure adherence to Group Payments Policy - Authorisation of payments - Management of cash forecasting - Covenant reporting - Foreign exchange transactions - Monitor compliance with Group Treasury Policy Compliance duties - Oversee the preparation and submission of P11d's and P46 cars returns - Oversee the preparation and submission of Group VAT returns Team management - Responsibility for the workload and ongoing development of the team This is a high profile role within the business as you will have exposure to senior managers across the organisation, and will input into key deliverables such as the Group budget, monthly Board reports, cost centre analysis and cash flow forecasts.
